Open House Event

In honor of our town, Yugettan will host an art exhibit featuring work from various local and international artists called "I Love Shiso" on Saturday, June 8 and Sunday, June 9. Between 10 AM and 4 PM, guests can enjoy paintings and crafts, meet the artists, and share what they love about Shiso.

Living in Shiso is the inspiration for this exhibition, and all of the artists involved have lived in or visited Shiso at some time. Whether they were inspired by Shiso’s nature or its lovely people, they wanted to create something thanks to this city.

The pieces will be displayed on the first floor. A snack and drink set will be available for purchase, and an English corner will be provided throughout the event so that attendees can relax and practice their English conversation skills. On the second floor, the museum's permanent exhibition of rare books, Japanese dolls, and more will also be open to guests. We hope you will come celebrate with us!
